"It was discovered that I had a strong allergic reaction to the dust of cat litter and the smell of a dirty litter box. When I made this discovery, I invented the PeeWee cat litter box system. My allergies are now a thing of the past." |

What makes the PeeWeelitter box system so special?
Few cat owners are aware that some cat litter products are bad for your health.
The most popular litter pellets (clumping or non-clumping) are made from bentonite, a sort of natrium clay that is not biodegradable. Bentonite is a byproduct of mining, which has adverse affects on the environment.
The silica dust that emanates from these pellets are especially bad for your health. Often a large cloud of dust escapes when filling the litter box.
This is dangerous for both human and animal because the silica dust can cause anthracosis (dust in the lungs). Whenever a cat cleans himself, he ingests tiny particles of pellets that have stuck to his paws. And because the clay is not biodegradable, these particles can lodge themselves in your cats intestinal system.

The PeeWee pellets are made from the sawdust of Pine and Spruce trees. It is a 100% pure natural product without any additives or binding products and is therefore completely safe for your cat.
PeeWee pellets, under a layer of straw, are also very suitable for the pens and cages of pet rodents.
How does the PeeWee Cat Litter Box System work?
-
Fill the upper gridded box with PeeWee pellets to the recommended level (about 2 cm.)
-
Whenever a cat pees, 90% of the urine falls through the grid to the lower box.
-
The remaining 10% urine is absorbed by the pellets in the upper box. This absorption breaks up the pellets into sawdust.
-
Because the cat scratches the pellets after doing his 'business', the sawdust falls through the grid of the upper box into the lower box.
-
Only the soiled sawdust in the lower box needs to be thrown away.
-
What is left, has a pleasant pine smell, and the paws of your cat remain clean and fresh.
The PeeWee Wood Pellets
The PeeWee wood pellets are produced by Mockfjärds Biobränsle in the north of Sweden whose primary produce is bio fuels.
In Sweden, there are many uses for wood pellets. All pellets are made of sawdust left over from the wood industry. Firstly the sawdust is dried, then, under high pressure, it is formed onto pellets. Any type of sawdust is used for fuel pellets and sometimes even bark.
The PeeWee pellets are a separate line in this industry. Only when carefully selected trees are sawed, are PeeWee pellets produced.
These trees are carefully researched and selected for their absorption and their ability to neutralize ammonium smell.
Only Pine and Spruce are used for PeeWee products to guarantee the superior quality of the pellets.
Nothing is added to the sawdust. No glue, binding agent or any other additive.
The 'secret' lies in the drying and pressing under very high pressure to form the pellets. The pellets can not be frozen nor can they rot. PeeWee wood pellets are 100% biologically degradable and compostable.

How best to use the PeeWee Cat Litter Box System?
Only use PeeWee pellets in the PeeWee litter box.
Should you use other pellets, the optimal neutralizing effects of the 'cat box odours' are not reached.
Other pellets are also not economical. Unlike other products, unused PeeWee pellets can be left in the upper box to be re-used!
Step 1![]()
Place a handful of PeeWee pellets in the bottom box so that the liquid of the first use can be absorbed. |
Step 2![]()
Fill the upper box to the recommended level (about 2 cm) with PeeWee pellets. More than 2cm is not needed. |
Step 3![]()
At least once a day, remove the solid waste from the litter box, using the provided scoop. |
Step 4![]()
Shake the upper box or stir the pellets with the scoop to make sure that the used pellets fall through the grid to the bottom box. Add some more pellets in the upper box until the recommended level is again reached. |
Step 5![]()
Empty the bottom box when it is nearly full (about once a week) The more sawdust is in the bottom box, the more the smell of the urine is absorbed. |
