How do I introduce my cat to the PeeWee Litter Box System?

Every cat is different, but also the attitude of the owner has an influence over how quickly your cat will get used to the PeeWee cat litter system.
Below are a few tips on how you can introduce your cat to the system.

PATIENCE 
Some cats take to the PeeWee cat litter system quicker than others. Some take even longer than a week to get used to the change. It's best not to rush your cat. Persevere and have patience! For example: If you have three cats, and one of them doesn't want to use the PeeWee Cat litter System, do not put the old litter box back out. This will only confuse the other cats.

TIME 
Give your cats time to check out the new PeeWee Cat Litter Box System. Open the door to the area where the box is located and give your cats a treat. Praise and encourage your cat when he is investigating the new box. Let your cat be inquisitive and discover the PeeWee cat litter box system at his own pace. Don’t follow your cat when he uses the litter box and don’t force him to use the PeeWee Cat Litter Box System.
 
NEW PLACE 
In case you want to change the location of the litter box, move the old box first. If the new location is far from the old one, then gradually move the box until you have reached the new area. This will allow your cat to gently get used to the new location. Leave the old litter box in the new area, but do not clean it anymore.  Keep the PeeWee Cat Litter Box System extra clean in the same area.
 
FURTHERMORE 
Put a thin layer of PeeWee pellets over the old litter that your cat has been used to. Slowly decrease the amount of the old litter in the PeeWee litter box.  Your cat will gradually get used to the PeeWee Cat Litter System.
Another way to wean your cat to the PeeWee Cat Litter Box System is to give the new box his own scent! When your cat has an 'accident' wipe it up with some paper towel and place it in the new box. Your cat will recognize his own scent.  It wont be long before your cat chooses the PeeWee Litter box over the old one - which you can then get rid of.
 
IMPORTANT 
The PeeWee Cat Litter Box System will not function to its optimal efficiency while another litter product is mixed with the PeeWee pellets for the transition period. This tip is suggested purely to help you to get your cat used to the new litter box system. 
 

Why is it economical?

The PeeWee pellets are made specifically for the PeeWee Litter Boxes.
When used in combination, a bag of 14 liter (9 kg)  PeeWee pellets should last you AT LEAST 4 MONTHS.

The cats solid waste is not covered, wouldn't that stink?

PeeWee pellets absorbs the moisture from the solid waste, leaving them dry and odourless.
 

My cat doesn't want to use the PeeWee pellets. What should I do?

Let older cats get used to the PeeWee litter box and the PeeWee pellets by adding a small layer of the old litter on top of the PeeWee pellets.
Every time you change the litter box, add more and more PeeWee pellets. Use the bottom (red) box.
After about a week, your cat should be completely used to the PeeWee pellets.
 
Then you can put the top box with the grid over the bottom (red) box for optimal functioning results.

How do I get my kitten to use the PeeWee Litter Box?

Wipe up the drops of urine that will probably have landed next to the litter box with some paper towel and place inside the box, on top of the pellets.

Put your kitten inside the box.

Keep on doing this until your kitten recognises his own scent. Your kitten will soon understand that the litter box is the best place  to do his 'business'.

It is very important that you remain constant and patient in dealing with your kitten.
